Virtual reality

I saw Terminator recently, and the scenes from the perspective inside the terminators head always seem awesome to me. The concept of a heads up display (HUD) is pretty sweet to me. Like, having an oxygen bar when I go swimming would be the best. I remember playing SEGA Lock-on with my homie back in high school – it had a little flip down display to tell you how many lives you had left. Check it:

Kind of makes me wonder why sunglasses manufacturers haven’t gone beyond crappy gimmicks like headphones, like the Oakley THUMP.
